Mushroom & Truffle Cultures

Where cultures are offered on most websites for a single purpose, at mycogarden we make a difference in the use of a culture and your ultimate goal. You can of course inoculate a substrate with it to grow the mushrooms or truffles of your choice. You can of course also produce multiple cultures with one culture and use those for cultivation. in that case you want a strong culture that you can further propagate. We call this a pure culture. Pure cultures contain many times more nutrients so that the culture has a much longer shelf life and you can enjoy it for much longer. The production cultures that you make from this, to inoculate directly after complete colonization on your own substrate, therefore require much less medium, which keeps the costs low. All available cultures are available both on petri dishes and in liquid form as a syringe.
